The project has delivered a broad range of significant construction and infrastructure outcomes. This has included the completion of three on-lot pads and three retaining walls, as well as the relocation of 1.3km of overhead 132kVA services to underground, improving both safety and long-term reliability.

Works have also involved the rehabilitation of former quarry pits through major infrastructure development, including the construction of new roads, essential services, and a 16m high retaining wall. A 40m deep quarry pit was rehabilitated, and a TRH containment cell was excavated and backfilled as part of the site’s environmental management strategy. To date, 2.2 million cubic metres of material have been moved from an original 4.6 million cubic metres sourced from a brownfield site, with in-house drone surveys utilised to accurately track and verify progress.

Additional works included the demolition of existing factory infrastructure, removal of surrounding contamination, and rehabilitation of all affected surfaces. New wastewater (sewer) and potable water systems were commissioned to service the development, alongside the installation of major underground services, including 2400mm stormwater pipes and the Stage 2 utilities package covering electrical, Telstra, NBN, potable water, and wastewater services.

The project also achieved several key milestones, including the opening of Estate Roads 1 and 2 to the public, completion of the Austral Brickworks hardstand extension, delivery of two additional lots, demolition of the old cul-de-sac with partial opening of the new road, and the staged planning of all future road works.
