As part of the project, approximately 340,000 m³ of quarried material underwent crushing and screening to produce high-quality aggregates suitable for reuse or sale, maximising resource recovery while supporting operational efficiency and reducing waste. Effective water management was also a key focus, with around 450 million litres of water dewatered, treated, and managed in line with environmental guidelines, including sediment control measures and careful discharge to minimise environmental impacts.
As part of the project, crushing and screening operations were carried out on approximately 340,000 m³ of quarried material, producing high-quality aggregates suitable for reuse or sale. This process not only maximised resource recovery but also supported operational efficiency and reduced waste.
Effective water management was a critical component of the project. Approximately 450 million litres of water were dewatered, treated, and managed in accordance with environmental guidelines. This included sediment control measures and careful discharge to prevent environmental impacts.
