We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQ Advisor to join our team based in Erskine Park, NSW.
You will be instrumental in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ISO standards, and supporting operational excellence across multiple sites. · Support and maintain HSEQ systems in line with legislative and ISO requirements (ISO 9001,
· ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
· Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring timely close-out of corrective actions
· Lead incident investigations and monitor outcomes to reduce incidents and non-conformances
· Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and daily site interactions
· Coordinate and deliver inductions, training, and compliance activities across the workforce
· Monitor compliance registers (e.g., action registers, calibration, injury and risk registers)
· Prepare HSEQ reports and maintain accurate records and documentation
· Liaise with site supervisors, management, and clients regarding HSEQ matters
· Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO and NHVAS requirements
· Ensure all site documentation (SWMS, inductions, compliance records) is current and properly maintained
· Stay up to date with legislative changes and industry best practices
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar HSEQ role
· Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
· Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation and ISO standards
· Experience within construction, transport, or mining environments (desirable)
· Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
· High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple sites
· Experience with audits, incident investigations (e.g., ICAM), and HSEQ systems (desirable)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance systems
· A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and team success
· Be able to pass a pre-employment medical
