Over its twelve year continuance, The Foundation’s focus has always been to support the greater community by raising funds for charity organisations around the Penrith/ Blue Mountains/ Hawkesbury region.
This year, the Foundation raised around $120,000, which is an outstanding achievement.
So far, $20,000 of this money has been generously donated to Lithgow Hospital and the Blue Mountains ANZAC Memorial Hospital, each receiving a total of $10,000.
Lithgow Hospital used their donation to put toward the purchase of a new portable CTG machine, to assist with the transfer of high-risk maternity patients. Blue Mountains ANZAC Memorial Hospital were able to purchase two new observation machines, to monitor patients in both the Emergency and Maternity wards of the hospital
